History, Career Highlights, and Future Goals

I got Annie when she was 5 weeks old at a rodeo. She was five pounds of fur and wanting to work cattle. We let her start working the dairy cows, beef steers, cows, and sheep at 10 weeks.

Annie is a great herding dog. Her career began when Barbara O’Brien took photos of her for Omega Fields packaging. Barb said she would be great as a dog model because she was so obedient, pretty, and full of expressions. We went to some casting calls and she landed her first job for Target – for their pet costumes. She was on the Halloween 2009 product packaging.

Annie participated in the photo shoot for Omega Fields new product packaging in May of 2009, she is the Omega Nuggets dog.

Adult photos of Annie are taken by Barbara O’Brien. Puppy photos of Annie are taken by Allison Kuhl.

Why do you use Omega Fields products?

I love and use Omega Canine Shine and Omega Smart Hearts. Annie is not a big eater, but when I feed her with Omega Canine Shine on her dog food, she gobbles it right up. I treat Annie with the Omega Smart Hearts each night, it is funny because she will go into my room and lay down and wait for her treats even if it is 8:00 at night. She gets really dirty at the farm, but always looks so shiny and clean. Everyone comments on how soft she is, she also sheds less – which can be difficult with Aussie dogs! She has a very intense job, so I love that the treats and Canine Shine Omega 3’s help with her joints.
